How a Garment Becomes Wearable Again

Every project begins with an inquiry and a detailed assessment of the garment and materials. That first review helps define what can be altered, reshaped, or reused before any quote is prepared.

For remodelling work, we discuss the design direction, confirm the concept, and then move into the agreed scope. This approach is especially useful for dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and vintage pieces that need a new fit or a fresh silhouette.

Careful assessment comes first, so every redesign starts with the fabric, construction, and fit in mind.

Alteration Atelier turns existing clothing into pieces that suit real life, while respecting what the garment can still become.

Upcycling can also transform usable fabric into smaller accessories or new details that extend the life of the original garment. The result depends on the fabric, condition, grain, and construction, so each idea is considered on its own merits.

At collection, the finished piece is checked again for fit or finish, and small final adjustments can be handled with care when needed. We also provide written alteration scope, redesign concept review, and garment care and pressing notes where relevant.
